"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" Romans 8:35a. In a world that is filled with heartache and deceit, everyone should know that some loves them. From abusive parents, to over bearing employers, to attacks on our schools, and even political uncertainty; it seems there is no end to the chaos that surrounds us. How are we ever going to get through life, much less, enjoy life?

When looking at the use of the word "Grace" in the Bible, we find an interesting nugget of truth that should encourage us everyday to continue to worship and praise God.

The motivation of our life should change when we realize that we are not earning God's love, but instead that His love is unconditional. Now we serve Him because of His love, not to gain His love. Colossians 3:23 reminds us that our motivation is to do all things from the heart, " to the Lord, and not unto men." Verse 24 goes on to tell us that the Lord will reward us for the right motives of good works.

Everybody wants to go to Heaven! No one wants to burn for eternity in the merciless Lake of Fire. A Godless eternity is without a doubt something to fear. So how does a person be assured of their eternal destination?

​Do you ever feel that the whole world is against you? Have you ever gotten the feeling like chicken little, that the sky is falling? Without a doubt, the pressure and aggravation we go through can have an influence on our outlook an attitude.

The Bible tells that we are to examine ourselves in light of scripture to have our sin diagnosed (1 Corinthians 11:28.) Upon the Holy Spirit revealing to us what the problem is, we then are to go back to the Bible for treatment.

Why do you worship the Lord? How do we praise Him? What motivates you to come to church or to put sinful things aside in your life?

We need to realize that not matter what is going on in our lives, we have an anchor point in Christ.

It seems recently, that there has been an increase in the teaching that a person can simply speak the name of Jesus and they are somehow miraculously promised a home in heaven.
