"This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 Do you ever stop and think what a day holds? For most of us, we are so busy that often our days pass without any consideration of God's provisions. Even in our busiest of moments, God is still on the throne and watching for our future.

"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." How are we ever going to get through life, much less, enjoy life?

The motivation of our life should change when we realize that we are not earning God's love, but instead that His love is unconditional. Now we serve Him because of His love, not to gain His love. Colossians 3:23 reminds us that our motivation is to do all things from the heart, " to the Lord, and not unto men." Verse 24 goes on to tell us that the Lord will reward us for the right motives of good works.
