"For whatssoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." Romans 15:4

The above verse from God's Word tells us that we should be paying attention to what the generations of Godly men before us have to say. This is a far cry from what goes on in many hearts today. We seem to gravitate to what is new and different. We often have a fascination with that which challenges authority.

Because the author of the Bible is God Himself, we know that His Word is Holy and Right. God says that the studying of scriptures with patience and realizing that what we read is truth (comfort), we get more assurance (hope) of what God has for us.

I want to challenge every parent and grandparent to help the young people in your life get in the habit of reading and believing the King James Bible. Let's determine not to allow our thoughts to challenge God's Word, but to simply lelieve it and grow in the knowledge and understanding of the Bible.

Saved to serve,
Isaiah 43:7
