Over the past few years, and especially in recent days, we have seen an increase in terrorist type activity. We are now finding terroristic mindsets i npeople who have been born and raised in our own country. They seem to have no understanding of how great this nation is or how blessed they are to get to enjoy national freedom.
The question could be asked, "What hs gotten into them?" Ephesians, chapter 6 gives some insight as to what is going on. As Paul writes to the church at Ephesus, he concludes his letter with a charge to stand. In the eleventh verse, he says to "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." What we often forget is that, in the last days, as evil men and seducers wax worse and worse, it is not only the ideas of man that we are in battle with, it is in fact, the devil and his devices.
The tenth verse challenges us to "be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might." Verse twelve reminds us once again that our wrestling is "Not against flesh and blod." As the verse continues, we find that principalities, powers, rulers, and those in high places come under the influence of Satan and incorporate his wickedness to attack those that are the Lord's.
In the coming days, when you hear the news of another attack on humanity and all that is decent and holy, remember it is only the strength of the Lord that will be able to overcome and enable us to stand. Also, even today, as you enjoy your freedom and liberty, put on the whole armour of God, so that you will be able to withstand the devil's attacks. May God bless and restore our country.
