What is the real story of Christmas? What is the story of Christ? He is God Himself.
Hebrews 1:8 says, "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever."
A lot of people today try to disprove the diety of Christ. If you ever need something to refute that, just open the Bible to this passage and read four or five verses starting with verse 8. It makes it very, very clear tha the Lord Jesus is, indeed, God.
It says of Him in verse 8, "Thy throne, O God (that is talking about Jesus), is for ever and ever."
It says in Verse 10, "And, Thou, Lord in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth" talking about Jesus.
It says in Verse 11, "They shall perish; but thou remainest"--talking about Jesus.
In Verse 12, it says, "And they shall be changed: but thou are the same, and thy years shall not fail"--talking about Jesus. We see Him as superior--superior to the angles because He is God.
Well, He is who He is, and He has done what He has done in order that He might bring many sons and daughter into the family of God.
"And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:21
"For mine eyes have seen thy salvaiton." Lucke 2:30
That's the Real Christmas Story, the substance of the Gospel. What a wonderful story! What a wonderful privilege it is to receive Christ as your personal Savior. If you have not already done so, please say yes and receive Him today.
