"But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD." Genesis 6:8

"For by grace are ye save through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God :" Ephesians 2:8-9

When looking at the use of the word "Grace" in the Bible, we find an interesting nugget of truth that should encourage us everyday to continue to worship and praise God.

Not only does the word "grace" show up in the New Testament approximately four times more than often in the old Testament, but we also find a difference in the wording that accompanies "grace." In the Old Testament we often find the words "found grace" along side of each other, but in the New Testament those words are not used together. In the New Testament we find the word "gift" used to explain the presence of grace. What we can glean from this is that race has always been available to mankind no matter what dispensation he has lived in. We are now living in what is called "The Dispensation of Grace" or "The Church Age." What a privilege to live in these days; the last days.

You and I have a responsibility to share the love of Christ to every person in every place. The message is simple: Christ loves you, died for you, arose to give life to you, and paid for your sin so that He could present you with the wonderful free gift of grace. And, grace bringeth salvation to all who believe. Let's be faithful with the message of grace on our lips.
