In a world that is filled with heartache and deceit, everyone should have that some love them. From abusive parents, to over bearing employers, to attacks on our schools, and even political uncertainty, it seems there is no end to the chaos that surrounds us. How are we ever going to get through life, much less, enjoy life?

For this reason God preserved His word for us and the passage we are looking at. After the question is asked at the top of the page, we are given some scenarios we face that often discourage us. "Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?" Verse thrity-seven goes on to say, "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us." Did you catch that? "We are more than conquerors."

Verse thirty-eight and thirty-nine go on to tell us that "neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." What it boils down to is that no matter what you are going through, God Loves You!

In the book of 1 John, we find in the fourth chapter that love is one of God's attributes. Verse seven tells us that " is of God;" and verse eight concludes that "God is Love." We need to understand that nothing we do, or anything anyone else does, will cause God to stop loving us.

The Bible says in John 15:13 that "Greater love hath no man than this, that a many lay down his life for his friends." Romans 5:8 goes on to show us this verse being put into action at Calvary. "...while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Have you ever realized that Christ died on the cross for you? His death, burial, and resurrection is proof that He loves you. If you haven't already done so, would you pray and accept Christ into your heart today. May God continue to help and guide us.
