Often people ask the question, "Do you think we are living in the last days?" This question is very intriguing to me. The reason is, because I want to know why the person is asking. I believe that some folks ask with a genuine desire to gain a better understanding of Scripture, but I think that others ask simply because their desire is to live like the world as long as they can.

It is not uncommon for man to have personal goals and interests. However, for those of us that have trusted Christ as our personal Saviour, we are told to crucify the desires of the flesh and take on the will fo God.

The time that has passed since the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ is known as the last days. We are now living in the last of the last days. The Bible gives us many signs of the season of Christ's return. 11 Timothy 3:1 tells us that perilous times will come and that men will be lovers of their ownselves. The Bible goes on to say in 11 Peter 3:3 that in the last days, there will be those that scoff at the teaching of the rapture of the church, and it warns of those that walk after their own lust.

For the child of God, the last days should be a time of commitment and excitement. For in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we shall all be together with Christ. This old carnal body will be changed into a glorified body, and we will be reunited with the saved that have gone on before us. If you have trusted Christ as your Savior, would you be willing to lay aside your desires for God's desires, and if you have never been saved, please do so today before it is eternally too late.
